A huge THANK YOU to all of the fabulous ladies who attended Ladies Evening Extravaganza last night. Thank you for supporting our agency, the services we provide, and the people we provide them to. The community support at this event is outstanding every single year.
Thank you to Judy Clark for being the emcee of the evening once again and adding her charm and personality to the event. 
Thank you to Teri Ouimette and all of the wonderful models of the first ever Ladies Evening Extravaganza fashion show.  The fashion show was so much fun, yet held a powerful message of why our agency exists.
Thank you to Amanda, Kurt & Cathy for pampering our guests with tarot card readings and aromatherapy.

We're hiring!

Position Available:  Family Support Center Parent Educator

This position is 24 hours per week.  The Family Support Center provides vacation and sick leave benefits.  This position has several responsibilities related to providing parent education and support including:  1) parent education and support in a home visitation setting; 2) one to one parent education and support in the office; 3) parenting classes and groups in a variety of settings including the Chippewa County Jail, L.E. Phillips Treatment Center, and other settings as opportunities arise; 4) new baby visits to mothers in the Birth Center of St. Joseph's Hospital. 

Qualifications:  Minimum degree required is a bachelor's degree in social work, human development and family studies or other human services related field.  Other important qualifications include:  at least two years of experience providing parent education and support in a home visitation setting and group setting, thorough knowledge of childhood development, experience working with a wide variety of families, experience with people in crisis, experience and skill in developing collaborative relationships with multiple agencies.
